Friday Music: Murray & Stone

Join us for a casual and fun evening on the plaza with the music of Murray & Stone!

With Michelle Murray on vocals and guitar and Buck Stone on guitar, mandolin and harmonica, the duo plays a combination of originals and covers that span genres including Americana, Bluegrass, Country, Singer Songwriter and Folk. Bring chairs or a blanket and enjoy the tunes!

Summer Party on the Porch

Food Plenty is proud to welcome Bulleit and Manor Hill Brewing to their Porch for a Summer Party with a Purpose.

Start on the plaza with tastings from Bulleit and Manor Hill. Bulleit is bringing their famous Woody, which only makes a couple stops in the state… originally designed by Brad Ford, the Bulleit Woody represents the ultimate luxury in tailgating and outdoor entertaining (as seen on CNN, The Today Show, FoxNews, and Food Channel)!

Then make your way up to the Porch for more craft cocktails and beer (available for purchase), passed hors d’oeuvres, and live music by Marc Scott!

Free for all ages. No tickets, No RSVP. Just a good time for a good cause! Event benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Maryland.

Little Free Library Inauguration

We are delighted to announce that the MOMS Club of Clarksville MD is donating a Little Free Library to the Commons!
Please join us for the official but not very formal inauguration of the Little Free Library!

Our library will be taller than the one in the image and will hold books for children and adults. To learn more about Little Free Libraries, please visit: https://littlefreelibrary.org/.

All are welcome! Please feel free to bring a book to share through the Little Free Library – just one book contribution per person, as space is limited.

Yappy Hour with Craig Cummings

It’s Yappy Hour season at the Commons!

But what is Yappy Hour? Yappy is hour is live music on the plaza, dogs very welcome! Eat dinner at one of the restaurant patios or have a take-out picnic on the grassy circle and then just enjoy hanging out with great local music and friendly canine friends.

This month enjoy the music of local singer-songwriter Craig Cummings.

Yappy Hour is every Second Tuesday, May through October. Free; all are welcome.

Screams & Whispers Songwriter Showcase & Open Mic

The Screams and Whispers Songwriter Showcase and Open Mic kicks off the 2019 season on May 21st at 7:00 pm with featured performer John Trupp.
John is an accomplished performer, writer, producer, guitarist, and all-around great guy. Preview some of his music at www.johntrupp.com.

Rebecca Aaron, RYT200.  Rebecca discovered yoga in 2002 and has been an avid practitioner ever since. Over the years she has practiced and fallen in love with Ashtanga, Baptiste, and Vinyasa styles of yoga. Rebecca’s classes draw on elements of each of these styles, as well as her roots in modern dance. Rebecca earned her 200 hour certification in Power Yoga at YogaLove in Howard County, MD.

$17 drop-in; $140 for a 10-class pack.
