Thanksgiving Market

Join us for the second annual Thanksgiving Market at the Commons!
Our whole roster of market vendors will be on the plaza, plus some exciting newcomers.

Local Girl Scouts will be selling cookies.

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will be selling t-shirts and sweatshirts to support their team’s work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

Local musicians Drew Cline and Calvin Thomas will perform from 10-12 and 12-2 respectively.

 

Trick or Treating on the Plaza

Come out to the Commons during the farmers market for some Halloween fun!

Market vendors and Commons businesses will be handing out treats to anyone in a costume.
The MD Tesla Owners Club will be offering “frunk or treat” fun from their cars.
The Tesla folks will also be partnering with SECU in a food drive for the Community Action Council.
The RHHS Future Business Leaders of America are organizing a costume contest and kid-friendly activities on the grassy circle.

This is the very last farmers market of the regular season!

Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and artisan crafts.

Bach to Rock Live!

We are delighted to host Bach to Rock Live once again!
Join us on the plaza for performances by Bach to Rock’s solo performers, student bands, and their instructors’ band!
Free; all are welcome. Chairs and blankets encouraged.

Monica’s upbeat, athletic, and flowing yoga style emphasizes technique and alignment while cultivating the connection between breath and movement. Be prepared to sweat and move freely, finding increased strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and relaxation.
