Farmers Market – September 10

Saturday is farmers market day at the Commons!
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, locally grown flowers, adult beverages, and handmade crafts.

Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Kindread Hill Farm; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Balti’Marons; Chez Tania; Pong’s Orchard; Dimitri Olive Oil; Krem Au Krem; Rooted; Twin Valley Distilling; Beaver Creek Cottage Garden; and Wild Air Candle Co.

Local musician Calvin Thomas will be playing this Saturday from noon-2pm.

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

Local musician Drew Cline will be playing 10am-12pm, and Doug Alan Wilcox will play from noon – 2pm.

Music Jam on the Plaza

Local musicians, join us around the outdoor fireplace for an evening of casual jamming sponsored by Everett Jewelers!

All instruments, all ages, and all skill levels are very welcome – this friendly gathering is to have fun and encourage one another. Please bring a few songs with simple chord structures that others can easily play along with. Musicians will take turns playing lead lines along with the rhythms.

The group gathers every second and fourth Thursday, weather permitting.

Summer Shredding Event

Gina Schramm of Northrop Realty is hosting a shredding event on Saturday from 10am-1pm!
Look for the shred truck in the back of the Commons parking lot.

Donations of new school supplies are also being accepted for Prepare for Success.

Join us for our fifth annual Electric Car Show as part of National Drive Electric Week!

We’ll have representative vehicles for many EV models on the plaza, with many more in the parking lot.
Stop by to ask questions, hear about EV owner’s experiences, and swap EV stories.

If you are bringing an EV, please pre-register at National Drive Electric Week and indicate if you’re willing to display your vehicle on the plaza.
