Rescheduled due to an icy morning in January, please join us as Howard County Master Gardener Barbara Schmeckpeper teaches about earthworms and worm composting!

Dust Bunnies, Ice Dancers, and Holiday Leftovers: The Birth, Evolution, and Fate of Our Solar System

Join local astronomy educator Dr. Joel Goodman to learn about the origin and evolution of our solar system.
This interactive, fast paced one-hour program will cover topics ranging from the birth of our Sun, planets, and other celestial bodies to the ultimate fate of our solar system. Attendees will have the opportunity to handle 4.5 billion year-old meteorites. A little something for everyone!

Holiday Decorating Workshop

Learn how to decorate your home for the holidays using natural materials!

A local Master Gardener will demonstrate simple techniques for bringing a bit of nature into your festivities.
