Farmers Market Kick-off

Join us on the plaza for the first farmers market of the regular season!

Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Eating and shopping locally is delicious & delightful! Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and artisan crafts.

We’re excited to welcome many new vendors to the weekly market this year. Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres, Pong’s Orchard; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Balti’Marons; Kindread Hill Farm; Scoop & Paddle; Bushel & a Peck; Mojo Mushrooms; The Salvaged Stitch; Mom’s Sweet Creations; Sapwood Cellars; Twin Valley Distillers, Half Baked Pastries, Raw Blossom, and Art of Crafts.

Local musician Mike Walls will be performing during this week’s market.

The Commons is pleased to be participating in the Maryland Market Money program this year, which allows us to match SNAP benefit dollars up to $10 per household per market day.

Friday Night Music: Cosmic Collective

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS CONCERT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE RAINY FORECAST.

Join us on the plaza for the first live music of the season with Cosmic Collective!

Cosmic Collective is an electric jazz band, in which every performer in the ensemble adds a particular element to the sound, resulting in a blend that is dynamic, smooth, and refreshingly unpredictable.

Enjoy the music while you have dinner on one of the restaurant patios, or get take-out and picnic on the plaza… and don’t forget dessert!

All Level Yoga Flow with Heather – Saturday Morning

Bring your yoga mat and water bottle for a morning yoga class on the grassy circle!

Join Heather for a 1-hour flow yoga class open to students of all levels and abilities. You will leave class feeling grounded, balanced, and peaceful.

Indie-folk rocker Annette Wasilik writes award-winning songs of love and longing; angels and demons.
