Farmers Market – Sept. 25

See you at the Saturday farmers market at the Commons!

Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and artisan crafts.

Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Kindread Hill Farm; Pong’s Orchard; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Mojo Mushroom Farm; The Urban Winery; Twin Valley Distillers, Dimitri Olive Oil; Chez Tania; and My Favorite Things; Serene Lavender Farm; Apricity Flowers; and Drink Wild Air Candles.

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will also be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Money Market matching program this season to help SNAP benefits recipients stretch their food dollars.

Music Jam on the Plaza

Local musicians, join us around the outdoor fireplace for an evening of casual jamming sponsored by Everett Jewelers!

All instruments, all ages, and all skill levels are very welcome – this friendly gathering is to have fun and encourage one another. Please bring a few songs with simple chord structures that others can easily play along with. Musicians will take turns playing lead lines along with the rhythms.

We’ll have representative vehicles for many EV models on the plaza, with many more in the parking lot. Stop by to ask questions, hear about EV owner’s experiences, and swap EV stories.
