Farmers Market – May 28

Saturday is farmers market day at the Commons!
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and handmade crafts.

Vendors at this week’s market include: Balti’Marons; Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Kindread Hill Farm; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Scoop & Paddle; Chez Tania; Krem Au Krem; Rooted; The Salvaged Stitch; Twin Valley Distillers; Beaver Creek Cottage Garden; and Mom’s Sweet Creations.

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will also be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

Local musician Calvin Thomas will be performing 12pm-2pm during this week’s market.

The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Money Market matching program this season to help SNAP benefits recipients stretch their food dollars.
