Summertime is the perfect time to visit the farmers market!
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, locally grown flowers, adult beverages, and handmade crafts.

Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Kindread Hill Farm; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Chez Tania; Pong’s Orchard; Blue Gables Farm; Fairy Greens; Raw Blossom; Real Food Real Tasty; The Salvaged Stitch; and Twin Valley Distilling.

The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Money Market this season. MMM matches SNAP benefits for purchases at the market – now with unlimited matching!

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

 

National Night Out

Join us for National Night Out at the Commons – it’s going to be an evening of community fun!
Local band Out of Order will play from 5-8pm, the Clarksville Fire Station will bring a fire truck (barring any emergency calls), and other HCPD and HoCo luminaries will pay a visit to the plaza at some point during the evening.
Commons tenants and neighboring businesses will be on the plaza adding to the festivities.

Friday Music: Craig Cummings Duo CANCELED

Another Friday, another night of great local music on the plaza!

Join us for tunes from Craig Cummings and Gantt Kushner, who’ll perform a fun mix of original songs and classic covers. Relax, it’s the weekend and you can hang out at the Commons.

Free; all are welcome. Chairs and blankets encouraged!

Music Jam on the Plaza

Local musicians, join us around the outdoor fireplace for an evening of casual jamming sponsored by Everett Jewelers!

All instruments, all ages, and all skill levels are very welcome – this friendly gathering is to have fun and encourage one another. Please bring a few songs with simple chord structures that others can easily play along with. Musicians will take turns playing lead lines along with the rhythms.

The group gathers every second and fourth Thursday, weather permitting.
