Local musicians Drew Cline and Calvin Thomas will perform from 10am-12pm and 12pm-2pm respectively.
Join us in the Community Room and on the plaza for a presentation by Hyattsville sculptor Paul Steinkoenig.
Paul created “Solar Hope,” the latest sculpture that the Commons is hosting as part of the Howard County Arts Council’s ARTsites program.
After Paul’s presentation about his inspiration and process for the piece, there will be time for community Q&A before we migrate to the plaza to view the sculpture together.

To celebrate the fun of Halloween, the market vendors, Vanguard Orthodontics, The Common Kitchen, Medomak Camp, the Stephanie McClellan Team of Northrop Realty, the MD Tesla Owners Club, and Bach to Rock will be offering treats to those is costume!
The Tesla Owners and SECU will also be collecting non-perishable foods for the Community Action Council food bank.

All instruments, all ages, and all skill levels are very welcome – this friendly gathering is to have fun and encourage one another. Please bring a few songs with simple chord structures that others can easily play along with. Musicians will take turns playing lead lines along with the rhythms.
The group gathers every second and fourth Thursday, weather permitting.
