Farmers Market – October 2
Join us for the farmers market at the Commons!
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and artisan crafts.
Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Balti’Marons; Kindread Hill Farm; Pong’s Orchard; The Salvaged Stitch: Scoop & Paddle; Raw Blossom; Chez Tania, Real Food Real Tasty; My Favorite Things; and Drink Wild Air Candles.
Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will also be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.
During this week’s market our live music will be provided by Mike Walls.
The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Money Market matching program this season to help SNAP benefits recipients stretch their food dollars.
In this time of re-opening transition, we ask everyone to be kind and neighborly. Make your own best decision about masks & distancing; and please be respectful of others’ choices and requests.
