Farmers Market – October 18
Saturday is farmers market day at the Commons!
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, produced, or handmade in the Chesapeake region.
You’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet & savory treats, cut flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, adult beverages, handmade crafts, and much more.
The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Market Money again this year. MMM matches SNAP and FMNP benefits of purchases at the market – with matching up to $20 per person per market day.
Local musician Calvin Thomas will perform during this week’s market.
A local representative from The Council on International Educational Exchange will be at the market to share information about being a host family for their high school exchange programs.
