Paraguayan Folk Dance Performance Rescheduled

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, please join us for this amazing cultural experience, brought to you by the Commons and Tasty Empanadas.

Get ready to be enchanted by two nationally acclaimed Paraguayan dance groups. First, Ballet Folklórico Ko’eti USA will dazzle the audience with their authentic and spirited renditions of traditional Paraguayan folk dances, including the breathtaking bottle dance. Then the Elenco International Anga Rory troupe will grace the stage with a mesmerizing array of traditional dances, featuring a multi-generational cast guaranteed to leave you inspired and enthralled.

Free – all are welcome.

St. Louis Concert Series on the Plaza

The Commons is delighted to host the St. Louis Concert Series for the first concert of their 2023-24 season!

D.C.-based jazz quintet “The Way,” led by pianist and founder Bob Boguslaw, heads to the Commons for a free afternoon of varied repertoire.  An acclaimed soloist and ensemble musician, Boguslaw brings two decades of experiences as a member of “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, together with appearances at the White House and esteemed concert venues, to the stage.
“The Way” quintet, playing together since 1995, combines elements of Latin jazz, contemporary jazz, and classical structure with original compositions, alongside reworkings of standards and pop tunes.

Spend a memorable afternoon listening to the music of this remarkably versatile and entertaining ensemble, while helping to usher in the St. Louis Church Concert Series 2023-24 season.

Weather permitting, the concert will be on the plaza – please bring your own chairs or blankets.

Latin Dance Group Fitness Class – CANCELED

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Clarksville Commons and Anytime Fitness are sponsoring a free series of four Latin Dance-inspired group fitness classes, and we hope you’ll join us!

The free classes will be taught by local fitness instructor Wendy Robinson and will be held on the plaza at the Commons. Wendy’s classes will be accessible for all fitness levels, and everyone is welcome.
The fitness classes will be on Wednesday evenings during Hispanic Heritage Month: September 20, September 27, October 4, and October 11, all 6:30pm-7:30pm.
*In case of rain, classes will move inside to the Community Room on the second floor of the north building.
