Farmers Market – May 17
Saturday is farmers market day at the Commons!
Grab your reusable bags and head to the plaza!
*Remember that the market is earlier this year: 9am-1pm.
Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, produced, or handmade in the Chesapeake region. You’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet & savory treats, cut flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, adult beverages, handmade crafts, and much more.
The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Market Money again this year. MMM matches SNAP and FMNP benefits of purchases at the market – with matching up to $10 per person per market day.
Local musician Calvin Thomas will perform during this week’s market.
Our friends from Civic Works will be at the market to answer questions about their home energy audits and other sustainability programs.
