Saturday is farmers market day at the Commons!

Everything sold at our market is grown, raised, or made in the Chesapeake region. Every week you’ll find local produce, meats, eggs, sweet and savory treats, adult beverages, and artisan crafts.

Vendors at this week’s market include: Clark’s Farm; Hensing’s Hilltop Acres; Balti’Marons; Kindread Hill Farm; Pong’s Orchard; Great Harvest Bread Co.; Mojo Mushrooms; The Urban Winery; Twin Valley Distillers; and Dimitri Greek Olives.

Our friends from Beyond Rhetoric will also be at the market, raising funds for and sharing about their work with young people in Maryland’s juvenile detention centers.

Local musician Calvin Thomas and Bach to Rock Music School will provide our live entertainment this week.

The Commons is pleased to be partnering with Maryland Money Market matching program this season to help SNAP benefits recipients stretch their food dollars.

We will be hosting a Howard County vaccination clinic during this market. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ups are welcome too.
