Learn About Green Roofs

Have you ever waited at a red light on Great Star Drive, looked across the way and wondered, “What’s going on with that stuff growing on top of You Pizza?”

Join Howard County Master Gardener Barbara Schmeckpeper for a presentation on green roofs in general and the green roof at the Commons in particular. She’ll share up close photos of the evolution of our roof over the last year and explain why green roofs are a great way to manage stormwater.

Pre-registration strongly encouraged but not required. To register, please send an email to info@clarksvillecommons.com.

Free; all are welcome.

Jamming at the Commons, sponsored by Everett Jewelers

Local musicians! Bring your friends and join us around the outdoor fireplace for an evening of casual jamming!

All instruments, all ages, and all skill levels are very welcome – this friendly gathering is to have fun and encourage one another. Please bring a few songs with simple chord structures that others can easily play along with. Musicians will take turns playing lead lines along with the rhythms.

A few guitars will be available for borrowing during the jam.

Any questions, please email: reverett@everettjewelers.com or info@clarksvillecommons.com.

Yappy Hour

What could be happier than Yappy Hour at the Commons where dogs are very welcome?!

Bring you favorite dog to enjoy the music of Calvin Thomas on the plaza. Dine on the patio at Food Plenty or You Pizza… or get something to go from Kung Fu 12 Szechuan, Kupcakes & Co. or The Common Kitchen, and eat on the grassy circle.

Your dog said to remind you about the dog-safe treats at Kupcakes & Co. and Scoop & Paddle!

The friendly folks from Bark! and Pinkie’s Play Place will be present to talk about all that they offer for dogs right here in Clarksville.
